Co-founder
Ten years designing and running workforce competitions for utility, construction, and maritime crews. Rallyday is that decade, rebuilt as a season.
What we learned
People need a team.
Solo leaderboards leave most people watching.
The format needs to reset.
One long race feels decided too early.
A daily 0-0 gives every team a new game.
The ending needs to matter.
A playoff finish gives the season an ending worth following.
A step challenge is one long leaderboard, usually decided by week two. Rallyday runs like a sports league: every day starts 0-0, wins build the standings, and the season ends in playoffs. Any team can win today.
Tap the kickoff link, download the Rallyday app, and connect Apple Health or Google Health Connect. Steps sync automatically, with no wearable needed. The phone they already carry can track them on its own.
We recommend a full month. It gives the competition enough time to build momentum, while keeping a clear start and finish.
No. Step Score is scaled to team size, so matchups stay fair and every step moves the scoreboard. One person can lift the team, but they can’t carry it.
Rallyday supports wheelchair pushes from compatible devices. Anyone who doesn’t compete can still follow the season from kickoff through the playoffs.
Rallyday is opt-in. Only participants count toward the score, so teams aren’t penalized for people who sit out. We also help with the kickoff to drive sign-ups.
Yes. Rallyday can start with a single department or group, then expand company-wide later. For the best experience, we recommend at least six teams with three or more people each.
Rallyday is designed to complement it, not replace it. It’s a team experience first, with steps simply powering the competition.
No. There’s nothing to implement. Rallyday doesn’t connect to your SSO, HRIS, or other company systems.
Team assignments and daily step totals from employees who opt in. Your company sees team scores and standings, never an individual’s step count. No GPS, health records, or fitness history required.
A shareable recap showing participation, sustained engagement, employee feedback, final standings, and playoff results. Built to celebrate the season and show what it created.
